Instructions

1: Preheat the oven to 400°F.

2: Place the beef bacon on a large sheet pan lined with parchment.

3: Start in a cold oven and bake until the fat has rendered, about 23 minutes.

4: In a bowl, mix together the cowboy butter ingredients and set aside.

5: Cut the French bread in half and slather with the cowboy butter.

6: Top with shredded gouda and cheddar cheese.

7: Bake or smoke at 400°F for about 15 minutes.
