Garlic and Caramelized Onion Bread

1: Start off by prepping the garlic. Cut off the top of each head and lay on a square of tinfoil. Add salt and olive oil to each one and wrap tightly. Bake at 425°F for about 40 minutes.

2: Next, caramelize the onions by heating a pan over medium heat. Add the onions and 5 tablespoons of butter. You can add some brown sugar if you like. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often and adding more butter if needed. Should take close to 45 minutes.

3: Finish up the compound butter by mixing the butter, garlic, parsley, and onions. Once thoroughly combined, spread the compound butter all over each half loaf of bread. Then cover in Parmesan. Bake in the oven or on the smoker at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes.

4: While the bread is cooking, fry up the prosciutto at 325°F until crispy.

5: Once the bread is done to your liking, crumble the prosciutto over the top and top with a drizzle of hot honey.
