These Smash Burgers are made with frozen Omaha Steaks patties that get crispy and juicy in just 5 minutes on the grill. Topped with cheese and a delicious Jalapeño Bacon Jam, they're perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Fire up your grill to cook over medium heat.
Add the chopped bacon to a skillet and cook down. Set aside.
Add the onion to the skillet and cook it down using some leftover bacon fat.
Pull the skillet off the heat and add the bacon back in, along with the brown sugar, half the jalapeño juice, and 1/3 cup of jalapeños from the jar plus the maple syrup. Stir to combine.
Place the skillet back over the heat and simmer, stirring often until it reduces to a jammy consistency.
Crank up the grill heat to around 500-600 degrees.
Place the frozen smash burger patties directly over the coals or flame and cook with the lid closed for 3 minutes.
Season and flip the patties. Cook with the lid closed for another 2 minutes.
Slide off the heat and top each patty with cheese. Close the lid to melt.
Assemble your smashburger with the sauce, double patty, and the delicious Bacon Jam. Enjoy!
