The Best Fried Onions!🔥

Start off by making the Chipotle Lime Ranch. Blend 1/4 cup buttermilk, 1/2 cup Mayo, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 clove garlic (or 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder), 1 tablespoon Dijon, 1 tablespoon adobo sauce, 1-2 Chipotle peppers, 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, 5 diced chives, a hefty pinch of sugar, a pinch of salt and pepper, and a big squeeze of lime juice. Put the ranch blend in the fridge to thicken.

Next, cut 2 sweet onions in half and slice them. Set aside the onions. Pour the Lucky Tempura Crispy Coatings mix into a bowl, adding 1 3/4 cups of cold light beer or club soda while mixing until you get a thick smooth batter. Then add a 1/4 cup cilantro and 2-3 minced chipotle peppers to the batter and mix.

Start heating your oil for frying to 350F degrees. While the oil heats, mix the sliced onions into the batter.

Once the oil is ready, take big pinches of the battered onions, shake off any excess batter, and slowly place them into the hot oil. Cook until golden brown (about 5 minutes). Enjoy with the prepared Chipotle Lime Ranch!
